| Poles One
Poles 1-you start weaving up a line of poles, usually 8-10 poles, and circle the last one to weave back down. You're timed for it.

| Poles Two
Poles 2-you run up the line of poles, again usually eight to ten poles, and then weave down so you're by the start, then circle the one closest to the start line, and weave back up. Then you ride back down on the opposite side you came up in the beginning, no weaving on the first time coming up or down. It doesn't matter which side you run up first. You are timed.

| Hurry Scurry
Hurry Scurry-the only official western event with jumps! Low ones at that, however. First, on one side, you jump two small jumps, and loop around a pole and come down the other side(of what? the ring, basically, just two lines that you run on!) and there's one jump you go over the second side. Note: it doesn't matter if there are two jumps first, or one. You are timed.

| Speed Ball
Speed Ball-there's a cone, like a traffic cone, one of the small ones with a hole in the top. You have a small silver ball. You run up to one side of the cone, drop the ball IN as you go around it-the ball must go in!-and run back. You are timed.
